In the diocese of Mangalore the laity has taken an active participation in the churches’ pastoral administration. In all the parishes we have Pastoral participatory structures in the Parishes. We have Parish Pastoral Perished, Fiancé committees, and commissions in all the parishes of the diocese. Similar Pastoral participatory structures are found at the diocesan and deanery level.
